Played to Death #12

by peterb

The Holiday issue of Played To Death magazine is out. Download the free PDF now and you can read my reviews of the Nintendo Wii, The Wii's online service, Wii Sports, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, and Xbox Live, as well as many other fine articles.

You mean I can get all the old nintendo games on a Wii? I'm sold. I forsee a problem though: 8 bit graphics were fine on a 13" tv. My TV has grown a bit, and the blocks will glory in their new size.

Not all of them, at least not just yet. The selection at present is fairly limited -- about 10 games or so, spread over the NES, SNES, N64, TG16, and Genesis platforms.

But they claim they will be releasing new games regularly.

I wonder if there is a place to put in requests? I'd love to play E.V.O. again! Many games I think I'd fail to get into these days but if it didn't cost too much I'd give them a shot.

There's a current list here

Apparently, they just released "Toe Jam & Earl". I guess I'm buying some "Nintendo Points" tonight.
